Theresa and John's Clonakilty West Cork Wedding
Ardfield Church near Clonakilty is a classic and beautiful location for a wedding ceremony, and the stunning scenery of Dunny Cove and Dunmore House Hotel make for breathtaking backdrops for wedding party photograph, especially on a day with great weather like we had for Theresa and John’s wedding
Ardfield Church, which is 10 minutes from Clonakilty, is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. The church is set in the picturesque countryside, and it provides a stunning backdrop for photographs. The church is laid out in a T shape which makes for easy photographic access to the action of the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, the wedding party drove to Dunny Cove for some photographs. Dunny Cove is a beautiful location about 5 minutes drive from the church, down a steep hill to a secluded bay with a concrete jetty for launching boats. The bright sunshine, the cloudy sky and deep blue ocean crated a fantastic backdrop for the wedding photographs.
The wedding reception at Dunmore House Hotel is another great opportunity for wedding photography. The award winning wedding venue overlooks the Atlantic ocean and Inchydoney Beach in the distance, which provides a picturesque backdrop for photos. The hotel is run by the 3rd generation of the same family and you always ger a fantastic welcome when you go there. I love to photograph all the wedding guests while that are relaxing and socialising at the drinks reception.
