Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction


These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Dermot Sullivan Wedding Photography (“Photographer”, “we”, “us”). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.
 

2. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed once a signed agreement and deposit are received.

  • The deposit is non-refundable and secures your wedding date.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before or on the wedding day, unless otherwise agreed.
     

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If the client cancels the booking, the deposit is non-refundable.

  • If the wedding is rescheduled, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

  • In the unlikely event that we must cancel, a full refund of any payments made will be provided.
     

4. Coverage & Working Hours

  • Coverage times will be agreed in advance based on your selected package.

  • Additional hours or extended coverage must be arranged prior to the wedding day.
     

5. Style & Creative Control

  • The Photographer retains full creative control over the style, editing, and final selection of images.

  • While specific requests can be noted, results may vary depending on conditions such as lighting, weather, and timing.
     

6. Delivery of Images

  • A sneak peek may be provided within 48 hours (where applicable).

  • Full galleries are typically delivered within 6–10 weeks depending on the season.

  • Images are delivered via an online gallery for download and sharing.
     

7. Albums & Prints

  • Album design will be created by the Photographer and shared for client approval.

  • Revisions can be requested before final printing.

  • Production timelines may vary depending on suppliers.
     

8. Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for ensuring access to venues and permissions for photography.

  • A list of important or “must-have” photographs should be provided in advance.

  • Cooperation from guests and other vendors is essential for smooth coverage.
     

9. Travel & Expenses

  • Travel within agreed locations (Cork, Munster) is included unless otherwise specified.

  • Additional travel or accommodation costs (if required) will be discussed in advance.
     

10. Limitation of Liability

  • In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to the return of payments received.

  • We will make every reasonable effort to arrange a replacement photographer if necessary.
     

11. Image Usage & Copyright

  • The Photographer retains full copyright of all images.

  • Clients receive personal usage rights for printing and sharing images.

  • Images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
     

12. Data Protection

  • Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • Client information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where necessary to deliver services.
     

13. Force Majeure


We are not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, government restrictions, or venue issues.
 

14. Governing Law


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
